Sourcing and citations

Klodsy posts cite real, verifiable sources or no source at all. When we reference a specific statistic or study, the article and URL point to the actual published source, not a generic publisher homepage.

• ·Real brand examples on first mention (J.Crew, Suitsupply, Theory, COS, Madewell, Levi's, and others).
• ·Verifiable published reports as sources: McKinsey State of Fashion, ThredUp Resale Report, Bain Luxury Goods Study, BLS data, AEMET climate data, Vogue Business and Business of Fashion specific articles.
• ·No fabricated statistics, no invented expert quotes, no made-up testimonials.
• ·If a specific number cannot be sourced, we use ranges or generalizations instead of a precise figure.

Update policy

Style content ages. We review posts on a rolling basis and update them when the wider style cycle shifts, when cited tools or brands change materially, or when a reader flags an inaccuracy.

• ·The original publication date is preserved on every post (visible in the byline).
• ·When a post is materially updated, the "Last updated" date is refreshed.
• ·Outdated trend claims (for example, "skinny jeans are the default" or "low-rise is over") are rewritten when the consensus moves.
• ·Cited brand examples are checked against the brand's current lineup.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error, an outdated trend claim, or a broken citation in any Klodsy post, email support@klodsy.com with the post URL and the issue. Corrections are reviewed within five business days and applied with the "Last updated" date refreshed on the affected post.

Disclosure

Klodsy is an AI fashion assistant app for outfit planning and virtual try-on. When our app appears in a post, it is mentioned as one tool option in the relevant category, not presented as the only solution.
